The sky was clear and everything new as it had never been
As the rain washed the pavement clean
The colors seemed even brighter and the body felt a bit lighter
for the tensions took a break, the mind set afresh.
The drops raced, along the window pane
Sunday had never been this bright and gay
People rejoiced with tea and food that was fried
